TOPTICA eagleyard develop and manufacture high power laser diodes – the key components for next generation laser systems. These high power laser diodes are produced in close cooperation with the renowned Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik and represent reliable product results of top research performances. Since its foundation in 2002, TOPTICA eagleyard, a highly innovative and rapidly growing  company  has become a leading provider of high power laser diodes with wavelengths ranging from 630 to 1120 nm. Customers worldwide integrate laser diodes “made by eagleyard” into their systems. Serving markets such as industry, life science, space/defense as well as the scientific community. The certified development, production and marketing processes are subject to rigorous quality standards required by ISO 9001:2015.

Based on GaAs wafer material, the semiconductor laser diodes cover wavelengths ranging from 650 to 1,120 nm. If you need high power and superior

brightness – and all that in a single emitter configuration – you will find

eagleyard at the leading edge of technology. The fabrication process

finishes with a comprehensive characterization of each diode including power

and current as well as spectral properties like line widths and beam profile.

Moreover, the components undergo a burn-in procedure prior to shipment.

• Ridge Waveguide or Fabry Perot Lasers operate spatially single mode and

offer output power in the range of 10 mW to 250 mW. They can be provided

with AR coating for external cavity configurations.

• Broad Area Lasers with stripe widths between 60 μm and 200 μm achieve output powers up to 15 W cw mode and up to 80 W pulsed mode.

• Tapered Lasers or Tapered Amplifiers combine the beam quality of a Ridge

Waveguide Laser with the high power known from Broad Area Lasers.

• Distributed Feedback Lasers (DFB) and Distributed Bragg Reflector Lasers

(DBR) with single mode emission at an absolutely precise wavelength feature

an extremely narrow line width in the MHz regime and even below.

• Packages: For easy mounting into your systems all these lasers are available

either in industry-compatible package styles like SOT, TO-3, C-Mount and 14-pin

butterfly. Or they can be provided in a customized design such as the CDL

housing for smart integration of additional functionalities such as FAC and SAC.
